  Welcome to Be Heard Interpreting! I am glad you’re here. I was first introduced to this amazing world of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) over 23 years ago. Since then, it has truly changed my life.

  I am an RID, Nationally Certified Interpreter (NIC) and hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration. With this degree and certification, as well as many years working in the field of interpreting, I have a passion for providing clear, precise, & meaningful communication for both the DHH and the hearing parties involved in any conversation. Making sure that all have the ability to Be Heard. Throughout my career, I have interpreted for various settings, including educational (K-12), post-secondary education (college, university, etc.), Medical, government, corporate, as well as small to large conferences. And I continue to learn and take classes and workshops to increase this list and improve my abilities in all of these.

  I know that with the changing world, new and exciting technology is also improving the communication and accessibility gap. I will always seek out and learn how to incorporate these into daily life. We all have the right to Speak and Be Heard! My goal is, now and will always be, to advocate for accessibility and inclusivity, to make a more positive impact on every interaction, and to facilitate clear communication.
